How does the free plan work?

The free plan gives you everything you need to run a small practice — full scheduling, a patient-facing booking portal, and role-based access for up to 100 patients and 3 staff members. No credit card required. No expiration. It's free for as long as you need it.

How quickly can I get my practice set up?

Most practices are up and running in under 10 minutes. Create your account, add your providers and up to two appointment types, and you're ready to take bookings. No installation, no IT team, no lengthy onboarding calls.

Can I manage multiple organizations from one account?

Yes — on the Group plan and above. Each organization has its own patients, providers, schedules, and billing, all accessible from a single login. The Group plan supports up to 3 organizations, Practice up to 10, and Enterprise is unlimited.

How does Genkō prevent double-bookings?

Every provider has a configurable weekly availability schedule. Whenever an appointment is booked — by staff or by the patient directly — Genkō checks for conflicts in real time. If a slot is already taken, the booking is blocked immediately. No manual cross-checking, no scheduling surprises.

Can patients book and manage their own appointments?

Yes. Every practice gets a dedicated patient portal. Patients can view upcoming and past appointments, update their contact information, and book new visits directly — without calling your front desk.

Is our patient data safe and HIPAA-compliant?

Genkō is built on HIPAA-ready infrastructure. All patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each organization's records are fully isolated — no other practice can ever see your patients' information. We follow industry-standard security practices and work with covered entities on their compliance requirements.

Do you provide a Business Associate Agreement (BAA)?

Yes. A BAA is available upon request for practices that require one under HIPAA. Email us at hello@getgenko.com and we'll have it over to you promptly.

What payment methods do you accept?

Genkō uses Stripe for all billing, which supports all major credit and debit cards. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from Settings → Billing inside your dashboard — no calls, no forms.

Can I cancel or switch plans at any time?

Absolutely. There are no lock-in contracts or cancellation fees. Changes take effect immediately, and if you cancel, you keep full access through the end of your current billing period.

What do the AI and analytics features actually do?

Analytics gives you a real-time dashboard of no-show rates, completion rates, appointment volume by provider and type, and patient growth — across any date range, exportable to CSV or Excel. The AI features run on top of your live scheduling data: WhatsApp AI lets patients book autonomously over chat; the dashboard AI assistant answers natural-language questions about your schedule; and the MCP API lets you connect external agents (Claude, GPT, custom bots) to read and write your practice data with scoped keys and rate limiting.
