If you are accessing Genkō as a patient through your healthcare provider, this policy applies to the information you provide directly to Genkō.

This includes account registration data, patient health information (when you are a covered entity with an executed BAA), usage data, and technical information about your device and connection.

For healthcare organizations, we retain Protected Health Information in accordance with HIPAA requirements, which mandate a minimum retention period of 6 years from creation or last effective date. Genkō operates with servers and personnel based in Mexico and the United States. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your data between these jurisdictions. Mexican users' data is handled in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

If Genkō processes your Protected Health Information as a Business Associate of a Covered Entity, you have rights under HIPAA including: the right to access your health information; the right to request corrections; the right to an accounting of disclosures; the right to request restrictions on use; and the right to receive a notice of privacy practices. To exercise these rights, please contact your healthcare provider directly.
Children's Privacy
Genkō is designed for use by healthcare professionals and organizations and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at privacy@getgenko.com and we will promptly delete such information.
Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals websites not to track your online activity. Genkō currently does not respond to browser DNT signals, as there is no industry standard for their interpretation. We rely on your cookie preferences and our privacy settings to manage tracking.
Third-Party Links
The Genkō platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrations with third-party services. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Genkō. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
